UCLA Physician Training
UCLA Physician LEND Champions
Physicians employed by UCLA are invited to become a LEND Champion and join a growing community of UCLA providers who provide neuro-affirming care in their practice.
UCLA Physician Training is a 12-week program. Physicians will be expected to block off approximately 4 hours per week Wednesday mornings for 12 weeks and will alternate between training in the UC-LEND Multidisciplinary Clinic and the asynchronous curriculum.
Asynchronous Curriculum
UC-LEND Physician Champions complete an abbreviated asynchronous curriculum that provides a clinical, research, and public health view of different sectors of health care that are affecting individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions. Providers will receive blocked clinical time for the asynchronous curriculum on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM for the non-clinic days (5-6 weeks).
UC-LEND Clinic
UCLA Physicians in the LEND Training program will train alongside UC-LEND Clinic providers and will receive blocked clinical time to attend the UC-LEND Multidisciplinary Clinic on alternating Wednesday mornings from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (6-7 weeks).
Other Opportunities
Additional opportunities for involvement include ECHO participation, Provider WhatsApp Group, and more!
