Application Requirements

The 2025-2026 Application Cycle for Graduate Student Long-Term Trainees will be open from February 1 - May 10, 2025.

Eligibility for the graduate student stipend includes acceptance into UC-LEND as a graduate student long-term trainee, a U.S. Citizen, and current enrollment in a graduate program at UCLA or UCR.

To apply to be a UC-LEND trainee, you will need to submit the following at the application link below:

1. Online UC-LEND application 
2. Two short-answer questions about your interests and leadership style.
3. Curriculum vitae 
4. Most recent university transcript and unofficial UCLA transcript
5. Two completed UC-LEND Recommendation Forms 
   • UC-LEND Recommendation Form Update.pdf
     • At least one form must be from either a faculty advisor or supervisor (UC-LEND faculty may serve as your reference)
