Yuri Matuso

Yuri is a 3rd year PhD student in the School of Nursing at UCLA.  She works under the mentorship of Dr. Clark.  Her research interests lie in the adult life of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and quality of life.  She is interested in non-pharmacological intervention to improve mental health status.  Yuri completed her BSN and MSN from the University of Pennsylvania.  Following that, she worked as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in a sub-acute crisis service for the pediatric population.  She has a special interest in accelerated aging in people with Down syndrome and its effect on their life.
