About
Dr. Salonga attained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at The Chicago School, Los Angeles, and completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship with the California Psychology Internship Consortium at Aurora Behavioral Healthcare – San Diego. Her clinical training at top-tiered institutions marks Dr. Salonga's journey to becoming a well-rounded clinician. Her diverse training includes conducting neuropsychological assessments at Hoag Hospital Pickup Family Neurosciences Institute, providing clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions at the UCLA Center for the Assessment and Prevention of Prodromal States program, providing behavior therapy and psychoeducation to children and families at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County Multidisciplinary Feeding Program, and integrating therapeutic interventions (i.e., CBT, DBT) at an inpatient psychiatric facility for individuals with severe comorbid mental illnesses including substance use. She has worked with a diverse population of individuals throughout the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and active-duty military.
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Salonga has chosen to complete her residency training here at UCLA! Throughout this training year, Dr. Salonga will provide care for patients/clients within the UC-LEND program and at our partner sites, CLARE|MATRIX and allcove Beach Cities.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Salonga enjoys spending quality time with her family, listening to podcasts, and exploring new food places. These personal interests not only provide balance to her life but also contribute to her overall well-being and perspective as a clinician.
