Sergio Escobedo

Dr. Escobedo completed his graduate education at Pepperdine University, earning his master’s degree in clinical psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology at California Southern University. He completed his predoctoral internship as a registered psychological associate at an outpatient mental health clinic providing specialty mental health services to foster and transitional-age youth, including psychiatric evaluations, psychological testing, and individual and family therapy, throughout Southern California. We are excited Dr. Escobedo will complete his residency training here at UCLA. Throughout the training year, Dr. Escobedo will provide care to patients within UC-LEND and the Gender Health Program, and at partner sites, CLARE|MATRIX and allcove Beach Cities. In his free time, he enjoys competing in local CrossFit competitions, eating sour candy, and watching movies with his wife.
