Priyanka is a doctoral candidate and third-year graduate student in the Neuroscience PhD program at UCLA, studying brain signal dynamics and variability in individuals with autism under the supervision of Dr. Lucina Uddin. Her doctoral research focuses on the relationship between brain signal variability and repetitive behavioral scores in individuals with autism across the lifespan. Through her research, she aims to identify early brain biomarkers for repetitive and restrictive behaviors in individuals with autism.

Previously, Priyanka worked at the National Brain Research Center in India, where she studied brain network theory in children with autism, focusing on alterations in the functional brain networks in autism. She completed her master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Mumbai in 2016, graduating with distinction. Priyanka also earned her undergraduate degree in Lifesciences from the University of Mumbai, graduating with distinction in 2016.
